Wallpaper in Colorado Springs

Wallpaper changes a room faster than anything else you can do to it, and it's the decision people circle the longest. Part of that is memory, since most of us grew up around paper that was hard to love and harder to remove. What's available now is a different thing entirely, and seeing it at full size instead of on a screen tends to settle the nerves.
See the Repeat, Not a Swatch
A two-inch sample tells you the colors and nothing else. Pattern scale, how the repeat lands across a wall, and whether a print reads as texture or as motif from across the room are all invisible at swatch size. We keep full-size samples on the floor so you can back up ten feet and see what you're actually choosing.
Grasscloth and Natural Textures
The safest place to start, and the one we recommend most often. Woven grasscloth, sisal, and paper-backed natural fibers read as warmth and depth rather than pattern, so they add a great deal without committing you to a motif. They suit rustic modern rooms particularly well and they age gracefully.
Botanicals and Quiet Patterns
Trailing branches, muted florals, and loose organic prints in colorways that stay calm. The trick is picking something with enough breathing room in the pattern that the wall doesn't get loud. Done right, these read as a soft wash of color from a distance and reveal themselves when you step closer.

Where Wallpaper Earns Its Keep
Powder rooms first, because they're small, they're seen by everyone, and a bold choice costs little to install and less to regret. Then entries, dining rooms, the wall behind a bed, and the inside of a bookcase or built-in. Ceilings are the underused one, and the single most surprising thing you can do to a room.

Measuring and Ordering
You'll need wall height and width, minus doors and windows, plus extra yardage for the pattern repeat, which is where most DIY estimates fall short. We calculate it with you and add the right overage so you aren't waiting on a second order from a different dye lot mid-installation. Bring your measurements, or we'll come take them.
Installation, Handled
Wallpaper rewards a professional installer more than almost any other finish. Seams, corners, and pattern matching are craft, and a beautiful paper hung badly looks worse than paint. We coordinate installation with people we trust, so the job gets done right and you aren't managing it.
Pairing It With the Rest of the Room
Paper sets the tone, and everything else has to answer it. Lighting in particular, since a sconce or chandelier against a textured wall throws shadow that becomes part of the pattern. Décor and textiles should pull one or two colors from the paper and leave the rest alone.
