À La Carte Design Services in Colorado Springs

Not every project needs a designer for a year. Sometimes it needs one for an afternoon, to settle a paint decision you've been circling since March or to tell you the sofa you're about to buy is eight inches too long. Our à la carte services exist for exactly that. Take the help you want, skip the rest, and pay for what you actually use.
Who This Is For
People with good instincts and a specific stuck point. The homeowner with a room that photographs well and still feels wrong. The couple who agree on everything except the dining table. The DIYer who's happy to do the work but wants the plan checked first. If you enjoy the process and just need direction at the hard parts, this is the right door.
Paint and Color Selections
The most requested service we offer, and the one people most often get wrong alone. Undertone is the culprit, and it only reveals itself on your walls, in your light, next to your floors. We'll narrow the field, test properly, and give you a whole-house palette that flows room to room instead of a set of unrelated decisions.
Furniture Plans and Space Layouts
A scaled plan showing what goes where, at what size, before you spend a dollar. Most awkward rooms are proportion problems rather than taste problems, and a layout drawn to scale surfaces that immediately. You'll leave knowing the sofa dimensions, the rug size, and the clearances that make a room work.

Cabinet and Millwork Design
Kitchens, baths, built-ins, and mudrooms, drawn before the millworker starts cutting. Door style, drawer configuration, interior storage, hardware, and the small dimensional calls that separate cabinetry that works from cabinetry that merely fits. This is one where an hour of planning saves a great deal of money.

Material and Finish Selections
Tile, flooring, countertops, and plumbing fixtures, chosen as a set rather than one at a time. Selections made individually tend not to agree with each other, and by the time that's visible the tile is already on the wall. We'll pull a coordinated package you can hand straight to your contractor.
Styling and Finishing Touches
For the house that's furnished and still not finished. Shelves, mantels, consoles, and walls, arranged with pieces you own plus whatever's needed to fill the gaps. It's the fastest visible change available and it usually costs less than people expect.
Lighting Selections
Fixture choices for one room or the whole house, sized and specified properly. Scale is where these decisions fail, and the fix is straightforward once someone runs the numbers against your ceiling heights and table dimensions.
When to Choose Full-Service Instead
If your project involves several rooms at once, a construction timeline, or trades that need coordinating, à la carte will start to feel like you're managing a job. That's the point where full-service costs less in aggravation than it does in fees. We'll tell you honestly which side of the line you're on during the first call.
Start With Fifteen Minutes
Tell us what's stuck. We'll say which service fits, roughly what it runs, and how long it takes. No cost, no obligation, and no pressure to buy more than you came for.
