There is a particular kind of tired that comes from walking a warehouse showroom under fluorescent light, looking at four hundred sofas that all begin to look like one sofa. We built the opposite of that. Oak + Loom is a curated furniture store on Garden of the Gods Road, stocked with pieces our designers chose on purpose, in a room that feels like a home rather than a hangar.
Curated, Not Warehoused
Every piece on our floor cleared a low bar and a high one. The low bar: will it last. The high one: is it worth the space it takes up in your house. That filter means you'll see fewer options here than at a big-box store, which is exactly the point. Fewer choices, better ones, and none of them chosen by a purchasing algorithm three states away.
What You'll Find on the Floor
Sofas and sectionals, dining tables and chairs, beds and case goods, consoles, coffee tables, and the accent pieces that make a room feel finished instead of furnished. We stock rugs, wall décor, and textiles alongside the furniture, because a chair rarely solves a room by itself. Much of it goes home the same day. The rest we can order in your fabric, your finish, your dimensions.
Rustic Modern, Our Signature
If our floor has a point of view, this is it. Solid wood with visible grain, woven and nubby textures, blackened metal, silhouettes that stay quiet. It's warmer than modern and cleaner than traditional, and it suits Colorado houses in a way that imported trends rarely do. The room you actually live in deserves more than a matching set. We help clients build living rooms in layers, an anchor sofa, chairs that earn their keep, a rug that holds it all together, and lighting that makes the space work after dark. Come sit on things. It is the only reliable way to know.
Dining Room Pieces
A dining table is a decades-long commitment, and it should be. We carry solid-wood tables in a range of scales, from tight-quarters rounds to trestle pieces that seat a holiday, along with chairs, benches, sideboards, and the lighting that hangs above it all. Bring your room dimensions and we'll tell you honestly what fits.
Custom Orders and Special Sizes
When the stock piece is close but not right, we order it right. Most of our brands allow you to specify fabric, leather, wood finish, leg style, and often the dimensions themselves. It takes longer than carrying something out the door, usually eight to twelve weeks, and for the piece you'll keep the longest it is almost always worth the wait.
Designers on the Floor, Not Salespeople
Ask our team what fits your space and you'll get an actual answer, including "not that one." Everyone working the floor is part of the design studio, so the advice comes from people who plan rooms for a living and who have no interest in selling you a sectional that will swallow your living room.

We're at 955 Garden of the Gods, Suite C, open Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, and by appointment when that's easier. Walk in, take your time, and put your hands on the things you're considering. Bring photos of your room, or your paint chips, or your partner who has opinions. All of it helps.
