We'd rather show you than tell you. Everything we do is built around materials you can touch, fixtures you can stand under, and rooms you can walk into, which is a hard thing to convey in a paragraph. So consider this an invitation. Come by, take your time, and see whether the place feels like the kind of studio you want working on your house.
Where to Find Us
955 Garden of the Gods Road, Suite C, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. We're on the north side of town, a few minutes off I-25 at the Garden of the Gods exit, with parking directly out front. If you're coming from Monument or the north end of Briargate, it's a straight shot down. From the Broadmoor, budget about twenty minutes.
Hours and Appointments
Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. Walk-ins are welcome during those hours and you will not be trailed around the floor by anyone. If you'd rather have a designer's undivided attention, or you need a time outside our regular hours, make an appointment and we'll set aside the room and the time.
What's Inside, Room by Room
The studio is arranged in vignettes rather than aisles, so you see pieces in context instead of lined up by category. Furniture anchors most of it, with lighting hung and lit overhead, wallpaper in full-size samples, and shelves of décor and textiles throughout. Much of the floor is available to take home the day you find it.
The Lighting You Can Actually Stand Under
Fixtures are installed and switched on at real hanging heights, which is the only way to judge scale and the warmth of the glow. It's the part of the showroom people mention most often, usually right after they've been shopping for a chandelier online for three weeks.
Wallpaper, Décor, and Small Things
Full-size wallpaper samples let you see a repeat rather than guess at it, and the décor shelves turn over fast enough that regulars stop in without a project in mind. It's a good place to solve one nagging corner of a room, or to spend twenty minutes browsing on a slow afternoon.
A Working Design Office, Too
Behind the showroom floor is the studio where our design projects actually get built, and everyone working the floor is part of that team. So the person answering your question about sofa depth is the same person who plans full houses. Ask them anything. There's no expectation that you're here to hire a designer.
What to Bring With You
Nothing, if you're just looking. If you're solving something specific, photos of the room help enormously, and measurements help more, especially ceiling height, wall length, and island dimensions. Paint chips, fabric you already own, and a partner with opinions are all welcome and all useful.
